Trump alleges that US has used secret weapon in Maduro raid
Trump said the operation involved American commandos entering Maduro’s compound without casualties or loss of aircraft. The Pentagon reportedly deployed over 150 planes and helicopters for the mission.
In a recent interview, Trump referred to the weapon as “The Discombobulator” and declined to provide details. “I’m not allowed to talk about it,” he said. “They never got their rockets off. They had Russian and Chinese rockets, and they never got one off. We came in, they pressed buttons and nothing worked.”
Seven US service members were reportedly injured during the raid, and one helicopter sustained damage but remained operational. Analysts have suggested that the US may have used advanced jamming technology to disrupt radar systems or force them to reveal their positions.
Following their capture, Maduro and Flores pleaded not guilty to drug-trafficking and weapons charges in a New York court.
